The piece is a reinterpretation of ancient mythology in some way – offering a completely new & fresh perspective on the traditional depictions of this figure while maintaining the flair of ancient Greek wisdom.

The art piece is mixed-media-based: It’s painted with watercolor, ink and gel pens & the design-elements surrounding Daedalus are created with digital-painting-techniques/brushes. At the top it reads the words “Chronicles of a Myth: An Odyssey to Ignite Your Inner Fire” – referring to Michael’s book with the same name (which is in the process of creation). In the bottom right corner is a quote from Ludwig Van Beethoven, referencing the mythological character.
